From 9 June to 10 September 2026, the attic of the Estonian Children’s Literature Centre hosts the Tartu Toy Museum’s exhibition Summer Adventures, featuring toys that have accompanied the summer activities and adventures of several generations of children.
Every day in summer brings a new adventure! You can try to be the fastest while playing tag with your friends or discover new paths on your bicycle. When you get tired, it is lovely to relax in the garden, swing on a swing and blow soap bubbles.
On a hot day, there is nothing more fun than having a water fight. At the beach, you can build the biggest sandcastle in the world. And after drying off in the sun, ice cream tastes especially delicious. In the evening, it is exciting to read a book by flashlight in a tent and dream about catching fish.

The exhibition is open during the Centre’s opening hours:
Monday–Friday: 10:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Saturday–Sunday: Closed.
