The Estonian Children’s Literature Centre invites art enthusiasts to the opening of the illustration exhibition “Little Stories Everywhere” on May 6 at 4 PM. The exhibition features works by Lithuanian artists and spouses Lina Dūdaitė and Marius Jonutis, bringing to viewers imaginative worlds filled with warmth, joy, and creativity.
Lina Dūdaitė is an illustrator and graphic designer who graduated from the Vilnius Academy of Arts. Her sensitive and poetic style has enriched numerous children’s books. Dūdaitė’s work is born out of a deep love for books and stories, which she brings to life with her distinctive illustrations. In addition to illustrating, she also teaches young artists at the Vilnius Academy of Arts.
Marius Jonutis is an artist known for the joyfulness and brightness reflected in his work. As a graphic artist and sculptor, he primarily focuses on creating wooden illustrations and pictures. His works have been exhibited at more than 70 solo exhibitions in Lithuania, Denmark, Germany, and France. Jonutis’s art is inspired by his everyday life in a home surrounded by nature, celebrating simple joys and a profound love for the natural world.
The creations of both artists are united by a sincere wish to share beauty, happiness, and the magic of imagination. Their illustrations invite viewers to travel through stories into new worlds where kindness and love prevail.
