Tallinn Illustrations Triennial

tit_logoThe Tallinn Illustrations Triennial “Pildi Jõud” (The Power of Pictures) is an exhibition held every three years. The Triennial is organized by the National Library of Estonia, the Estonian Graphic Designers Association, the Estonian Children’s Literature Centre and the Estonian Section of IBBY. Book artists from the Baltic Sea countries – Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Germany, Russia, Poland, Finland, Sweden, Norway, and Denmark – can participate.

This year’s 7th Tallinn Illustration Triennial, titled “The Power of Pictures”, will take place from November 3rd to December 3rd, 2023. The exhibition features the works of 82 artists from 26 countries, showcasing over 300 illustrations that can be viewed at the Estonian Architecture Museum. Additionally, the Estonian Children’s Literature Centre will host an solo exhibition by the winner of the previous triennial, Mexican artist Amanda Mijangos, titled “Learn to Look, Learn to Say”.
