The exhibition of Estonian illustration “Once Upon A Time…”, which has been travelling around Italy since May 2015 has reached the city of Sassari, the second largest of Sardinia.
In the exhibition, 20 artists participate with 59 works: Sveta Aleksejeva, Anu Kalm, Kristi Kangilaski, Kadi Kurema, Anne Linnamägi, Regina Lukk-Toompere, Ülle Meister, Tiia Mets, Jüri Mildeberg, Piret Mildeberg, Gerda Märtens, Viive Noor, Juss Piho, Anne Pikkov, Ulla Saar, Kertu Sillaste, Catherine Zarip, Tiina Mariam Reinsalu, Maarja Vannas-Raid and Urmas Viik. The exhibited works have been made specially for the exhibition.
In Sassari, the exhibition will be shown in Palazzo di Cittá until 20th August. The exhibition is accompanied by a bilingual English and Italian catalogue.
The exhibition is organised by the Estonian Children`s Literature Centre and by the Society of Estonians in Italy (Itaalia Eesti Selts) and financed by the Estonian Ministry of Culture and the Estonian Graphic Designers Association.
