“Sea Fairy Tales” Exhibition at the Estonian Children’s Literature Centre

The “Sea Fairy Tales” exhibition will be open at the Estonian Children’s Literature Centre from March 20 through April 28. A total of 90 sea-themed illustrations by 78 artists from Baltic countries (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Sweden, Germany, Finland, Denmark, and Russia20) will be displayed.

Estonian illustrators on display will include Sveta Aleksejeva, Anneliis Aunapuu, Mare Hunt, Kadri Ilves, Anu Kalm, Anne Linnamägi, Regina Lukk-Toompere, Ülle Meister, Hillar Mets, Tiia Mets, Jüri Mildeberg, Piret Mildeberg, Viive Noor, Enno Ootsing, Ede Peebo, Juss Piho, Piret Raud, Priit Rea, Tiina Mariam Reinsalu, Reti Saks, Kertu Sillaste, Vera Staniševskaja, Vladislav Staniševski, Catherine Zarip, Annika Tonts, Milvi Torim, Kelli Valk-Kagovere, Maarja Vannas-Raid, and Maarja Vint.

The traveling exhibition embarked on its journey from the Estonian Children’s Literature Centre in Tallinn in 2011, visiting various sites around Estonia, Finland, Russia, Poland, Germany, and Denmark along the way. Now, it has returned home.
